Training & Education
Nevada EMS Program is supporting SB 137 by expanding access to CPR and first aid training through an agreement with the American Red Cross that allows Nevada EMS Program personnel to teach approved Red Cross courses, document completion through the Red Cross learning system, and grow long-term training capacity, including train-the-trainer development for selected courses. This work increases the number of Nevadans prepared to respond to medical emergencies and supports SB 137’s focus on improving emergency response readiness and access to resources. For questions, coordination, or interest in participating, please contact John Mittelman, Nevada EMS Program, at jmittelman@health.nv.gov.
